I Abused Myself...

I didn't know it was abuse.
I would sit on my couch with this dark spirit that rested inside of me saying "No man finds me worthy enough to make his wife. I'm good enough to Netflix and chill, I'm good enough to have sex, I'm good enough to take on a few dates but not good enough to commit to.
I became my own worst enemy.
I didn't need anyone to abuse me because I was doing a great job all by myself.
Have you been there? have you found yourself deeply criticizing yourself? Have you isolated your thoughts and feelings to a point where you couldn't breathe?
Have you assassinated your own character and it has now become a norm?
I want you to know that you are not alone. What I really want you to know is that you can break free of this toxic behavior.
In this Wife To Be Conversation, we are discussing the Impact of Self Abuse in recognition of Domestic Abuse Awareness Month.

Deal with the pains of yesterday and today so that we can experience the best of tomorrow and beyond.
P.S~ Be sure to take notes and email me for conversation. I would love to hear from you!
